• 1996-2003 Study of German Literature, Politics and Art and Media Science at the University of Constance
• Summer 2003 to Spring 2004 Visiting researcher at the Free German Bishopric/Frankfurt am Main as part of an editorial project of Prof. Dr. Landfester (Hofmannsthal Editorial) and for the preparation of a Ph.D. project (Brentano Editorial)
• Since Summer 2004 Assistant at the Faculty of German Language and Literature (Prof. Dr. Ulrike Landfester) at the University of St.Gallen
• Ph.D. studies at the University of Constance with a doctoral thesis on the late version of Clemens Brentano’s "Gockel Hinkel Gackeleia" (completed 2010)
• Teaching at the Universities of St.Gallen, Zurich and Constance
• Various language courses in Spain, 2001 financed by the Spanish Embassy, 2002 internship with the FAZ (foreign correspondence in Spain, politics department in Madrid)
